    do yall believe in extraterrestrials

and do yall think they have come to earth and our government has covered it up . i mean i dont think they have come to our planet but i mean i also dont put it pass the government to cover this up and i can understand why but yeah iv always been fascinated by the idea of aliens/ufos i mean clearly the universe is huge so to rule out alien life is pretty ignorant imo

I believe it's likely, though I can't be 100% certain, that there is alien life somewhere out in the universe. I do not think they have visited earth though. In fact I'm not sure intergalactic travel could ever be feasible with the great distances involved. (Not saying it's 100% impossible, who knows where technology will go in the future.)

Its possible there are living organisms in the universe besides those found here in our solar system and galaxy.

Visitors to Earth from other worlds? Not even a bit.

    Likely. But who knows.

The fact that life exists here is actually kind of amazing.

Fermi's Paradox makes that scenario unlikely.

As in life on a terrestrial body other than earth? In the whole universe? Definitely.

Do I believe any other intelligent life has ever visited earth? No.

Possibly. The likelihood different life forms would cross paths isn't good though. Firstly technology and lifespan limitations come to mind

    ^ Haha.

On topic: yes I believe they exist, no I'm not convinced they've visited Earth.

To think that they have visited Earth is to have a MASSIVE ego. There are BILLIONS and BILLIONS of stars and planets in the Universe. The chance of them stumbling upon Earth is so small its not even comprehendable.

The odds of us being alone in the universe are nonexistent.

That being said I do not believe they've been to Earth.

Maybe there's some universal police that says you can't meddle with other species and have to let them develop on their own, to see if they're worthy of joining the Europea- Universal Union.

I really hope Asari are real tbh. I'll take Quarians too.

Simply due to the unfathomable size of the universe, you'd have to be pretty stupid to claim that there is absolutely zero possibility of there being life out there...

The chances of coming across them is a totally different issue altogether though.

Pffftttt. Clearly you're wrong. Haven't you seen all those factual videos on YouTube about random objects flying in space at night and seeing lights? *rolls eyes*

You have no basis to make that statement.

We do not know the odds of life beginning in location. So we cannot say whether it is possible that other life exists or if we are alone. It is perfectly feasible for the genesis of life to be so rare and require such specific circumstances, that we are it. Its also possible that its really common.

Right now, making statements like you did, just show you want life to exist elsewhere, and bears no impact on the actual chance of it doing so.

Right now, we lack the information to make a call.

    No you would not.

Of course a better answer is "we dont know". we cant even guess at probabilities at this stage.

I believe it is possible that there is other intelligent life in the universe, but I don't believe we will ever meet them.

A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow. ..Agent K. I think its plausible that the government has covered something up, a good portion of the planet wouldn't be able to handle the idea that there are alien species out there with the ability to visit us. I could see aliens also opting to conceal themselves because we are more dangerous than we were 1000 years ago.

It makes sense to me that in the vastness of the universe there is a high chance something else must exist.
