Finally saw the new Suicide Squad trailer and hearing Bohemian Rhapsody in the trailer is.....I don't wanna say dumb or annoying....perhaps moderately misplaced? Kind of like with a DMX song for Deadpool, or ACDC in just about any trailer/commercial, it didn't really match what it went along with. Still better than Pixels using We Will Rock You though, but that wasn't hard to surpass.
The trailer itself was alright, nothing all that spectacular. It is nice to see color in a DC film, which was fun and shows they are willing to put some sort of color in it. I feel like they wanted to do what Guardians of the Galaxy did, explain the characters and their powers (although this trailer missed like three of them, probably because those aren't played by famous people), give you a nostalgic song of some sort, and watch some crazy stuff happen with witty lines (or as best as they could get) and give you the gist.
Leto as the Joker still doesn't thrill me, but I guess I'll see when the movie comes out. No accent on Harley is a shame, but not all of them will be the same. All in all the trailer was okay-ish. If I wasn't a comic book person this probably wouldn't have drawn me in.
