Well Imgur can't resize gifs but imgur can resize a image you just add a l before the .jpg of the image link like http://i.imgur.com/8m5rkpW.jpg normal link but http://i.imgur.com/8m5rkpWl.jpg is resized to large thumbnail mode then m for medium and t for small.
