"Would you please let me join your p-p-party?
Well there's always the option of praying there's a decent third party and hoping the majority agree that both choices suck too hard to even consider them. I'd go for him over Hillary but I'm still hoping SOMEONE worth a single shit will appear soon. It certainly isn't ANY of the candidates on either side this time.

I think Kasich talks a good game. Don't know much about him cause they haven't given him much time in the debates or on the news stations, but what I've seen of him I do like him. I wish more candidates made a concerted effort to be civil in their discourse like he has been.
OK, so the concert I go to on Sunday, the doors open at 6, and there’s one opener. It starts at 8.
When can I expect to go home? I got my Thundercats shirt!
So I don't really follow the overseas politics or anything but why aren't any of you rooting for Sanders?
I'm bad at not getting distracted. Hai. I'm doing alright for the time being yes.
I'll be honest, it'd be hard NOT to be better than Hillary. It's really a choice between Leprosy and Cancer.
He'd PROBABLY be better than Trump, though I do hear he has a bit of a temper at times and well.. he's the type to defund planned parenthood rather than just reworking it a bit. But yeah I do like that he's been trying to stay above the mudslinging circus. Rubio WAS but then he went down to Trump's level and wound up losing the respect of a LOT of his voters.
Socialism is ah..not popular here. At all. It likely flat out wouldn't work in a country like the US without a HORRIBLY painful time of adjustment that could easily decimate our economy. I mean look at the damage Obama's half assed attempt at a stopgap to Universal healthcare caused. And that's just one change toward socialism, not even the full transition.
Well the way things are looking, he's slowly losing a lot of ground and doesn't have control of a ton of delegates. He's got the popular vote, but it doesn't mean a thing because Republic. That and his voter base just sucks, they're more likely to "Like" him, instead of voting for him when he needs it. That and if he does become president, he really wont get that much done that he wants to do. European systems of education/healthcare and so on will make the US the next Greece.
In the end, with the way things are going, we're going to have a vote between a pathological lying flip-flop, and a person who wins voters by being racist and not very presidential.
Not saying Clinton is not allowed to change her opinion on new information. But A LOT of things she says are just incorrect, or straight up lies. And I really dont think someone who is in a heap of legal trouble right now should be running for president. She says what's popular, and she is willing to do dirty tactics. I dont like her as a person and I dont think she should be president.
As for Trump. Its just.. I dunno where anyone is really standing on him. He isnt republican, but he is running as such and the Republicans know it. The only mindsets I have that support him are the older generations who see the country from what it was. Republicans sure as hell hates him, but probably will vote for him because all the other options suck. Others honestly believes he is saying what a lot of Americans are grumbling about. Illegal Immigration, the National Debt, so on and so fourth. That he will tackle them. He wont, but still
Problem with both candidates is they dont have the support of their parties. Especially Trump. So once either of them will become president, they will be fought at every turn.
The biggest difference for me is that he DOES actually address the things like immigration that need to be addressed. And in the way they SHOULd be addressed in a lot of cases. Whether he will 'actually' do something or not he at least admits this is an issue that needs to be discussed and if possible, dealt with. Even if the idea he threw out is..ludicrously unlikely.
Between him and Hillary..it's a choice between a bitch who will actively damage the country because her party will actually SUPPORT her stupidity and ineptitude, and a guy with a few decent positions but stupid plans who will be prevented from damaging the country for the most part because neither side will support most of what he will do. SOME of the better ideas sure, but most of it will be blocked by both sides.
He's sort of the safer stopgap between this garbage election and one where we can get non trash candidates with a snowballs chance in hell of victory.

The most important consideration for me came just the other week when a spot on the Supreme Court opened up. In my view, it's the single most important thing a president can do. It's the reason I'd even consider voting for Clinton, and only then if she's up against someone who would put in another Scalia.
Trump, he'd probably put in someone reasonable-to-liberal. Cruz or some other conservative, nope, they won't be getting my vote.

But we also have different priorities and dozens of times the population, and not nearly enough capital that most people would be okay with shifting from other things (particularly military) to other socialist policies.
