Trying to help someone attach their computer to a TV. I mean, I can get it work, no problem. The problem is that even with the TV off, the computer still treats it as a 3rd monitor and you can lose your mouse in the abyss to the right side of the screen.

And whenever they want to use it, they have to go through the hassle of making it the primary monitor, and then when they're done, make the computer screen the primary again.

Me neither. The internets has been most unhelpful. The best I can find is the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + P which is what you're apparently supposed to use.

When I tried it, I lost image on both computer monitors and the TV said no signal. I had to press the shortcut again to get anything back. It was 30 seconds of terror.
