Dogs and bacon

Probably. Just keep an eye/ear out for puking. If it's just once or twice, you should be fine, if it last for a full day or two, take him to the vet. Small dogs can get dehydrated fast.

I'm not sure if its actually bacon. And I dont know where it came from. But I'm pretty sure no meat looks like bacon out in the wild.

Dogs have stronger digestive systems than people since they're naturally scavengers. Been feeding mine raw chicken legs for over 20 years.

Dog isn't really full of flavor, so I imagine the bacon could only help. Oh, wait. I mean bacon does not "hurt" dogs. Hell, they eat their own shit, so... /shrug

yes dogs have a much strong tolerance to raw meat than humans
and raw pork is much safer now days then it was years ago

My dog eats whatever he can find. Yesterday he found and started munching on a week old dead deer... of course he had to roll on the carcass a few times.
Nothing bad happened except a long shower.

should be perfectly fine only issue could be if its heavy smoked bacon it could give the dog a upset stomach, but if the dog acts normal 24 hours after there should be no issue.

I was always led to believe that you should never to feed a dog pork. They have a hard time digesting it and it can make them puke. Dunno how true it is.

Nah I feed my dog cooked bacon all of the time. Generally speaking I don't let my dog eat things she finds outside, mostly because I don't trust other human beings. If your dog starts acting like s/he's sick, gets a crazy amount of diarrhea, or otherwise seems listless/nauseous then call your vet. But your dog is probably fine.

He will be fine worst case he will either throw it up or drink a massive amount of water if it was salted.

I give my dogs bacon every Sunday from our breakfast. He'll be fine.

Its totaly safe for a dog...but be sure to give him water to drink.

Heck i give my dog a dog food that looks like a real bacon (and damn it smells nice).
