This poll question is poorly phrased. At least you could have put how long the previous drought was. You cannot expect to get a good idea of what the community thinks if they have to go search how long the previous drought was.

Well, their entire justification for having such a small expansion was specifically to avoid having such large gaps of no content between them, so this is turning into a little of a pisstake. Once I've got the Xmas mount, I'm probably going to pause my account until Legion hits.

Sorry, what does "content drought" mean? Is it the time between the last content patch of an expansion til the prepatch of the next expansion?
If so then: I don't know I'm not really counting the hours of the expansion. Usually I have too much to do and not enough time to get it all finished.

LoL... first of all it will be even more of a "dry out" than MoP.
Mist of Pandaria had overall more content that it could provide us with, timeless isle who was a great place for PvP & PvE Players.
Thunder Isle farming reputation and items for various of alts for the legendary cloak and a lot more of raids tiers and PvP Seasons.

We had a lot more to go back to and more stuffs to do in MOP "correct me if wrong" but i always had something to do.

Isnt it a Q2 release? They said they'll release in summer and then posted "The expansion will be released before [Last Day of Summer]" not "We release on the last day of summer"

Edit: My bad, I thought Q3 was Sept/Oct for some reason. Looked it up, its July/August/Sept, which is in the summer. but considering May and June are also part, it may be a late-Q2 release. (But that's a gamble)

It is iffy. SoO was 14 months right? HFC released June 24th 2015. They promise us Legion before Sept 21st. So as long as we get Legion before Aug 24th then it will be a smaller gap than SoO. I wanna say Sunwell was 8 months, ICC was 12 months, DS was 10 months. So SoO I think was our longest content drought. Hell if HFC is less than 14 months then we are doing good. But I am not gonna hold my breath.

Yes. Not just because it will be the same "time". But because 6.2 was never a good patch and never will be. 5.4 however had a lot of extra shit. 6.2 doesnt. I was done with 6.2 after about a month. No Bloody Coins, nothing. That means even "if" it is longer. People already are sick of 6.2 and cant be bothered to log on. And I can't blame them.
The horrible thing about this however ... we are still nowhere near Beta. That means it will take even longer than that. Which is ... not good.
