Someone with money and doesn't want to bother? The mounts go for ridiculous prices, especially 1% drops. I've seen the Alysrazor mount in BMAH for over 200k multiple times. I've run Firelands, ICC, and Dragon Soulntil my fingers bleed and can't get these mounts to drop (but can't bid that high either). Really annoying.

I've seen the Ultraxion and Huolon mounts go for gold cap on high pop bmahes. Interestingly, the guy who paid 100k for the container is paying well above high pop market prices, lol.

There's your problem OP. I'm also on that server, people will drop gold cap on worthless shit because they have nothing else to do. Over populated, tons of people with too much gold and time on their hands.

This achievement is annoying, especially the one with Razorscale breath killing 25 dwarves. This one alone takes 30 min...

IMO more stupid bid is 100k on the mystery box. This box has a really high chance (like 97-98%) to contain absolute trash: T3 not for your class, PvP gear not for your faction, useless HFC HC gear noone cares about, crappy AT pet worth 1k etc.

Especially if you are decent collector like me, with just a few items to aim for, this box is an immense waste of gold.

They go for 100k alot here. Ive bought 2 for 30kish...one had Ally pvp wrist...other had Druid T3 legs...on my mage.

We had a Darkmoon Satchel go for like 75k. Thats approx. 430 DMF Tokens.

Plagued proto is an INSTANT gold cap. Propably even on the shittiest server imaginable.
I managed to insta-cap it in June, got MANY hate whispers from sore losers. Esp considering that I use random alt with completely different name for BMAH bid-capping. I'm
It haven't spawned since then and it's been like 6 months now.
Lost few mounts since then (Sha mount, old ZG mount) but not even that mad. I got Plagued Protodrake without the achievement.

As for more ridiculous bids I've seen on my realm (Silvermoon-EU)

Mystery box for 262,000g
Two pieces of Mage T3 for max bid (960.000g)
A PvP gear piece worth 1250 conquest points for 125.000g (in MOP)
Warrior T3 boots for 675.000g in MOP (before garison gold pinata)
Alysrazor mount for 577.000g in MOP (before garison gold pinata)
Lots of pointless 999.999 gold bids. That's about 45k gold wasted, as you can't outbid anything above 955k.

I've spent a good chunk of money on BMAH too. Max-bidded Plagued Protodrake, Galleon mount and Elegon mount from MSV. Also bought Tabard of Frost and Riding Turtle (TCG) for 300k each. Few MOP flying tomes as well but not more than 5k each.

My realm is really bad for buying on BMAH, even if you are willing to max-bid stuff. There are lots of tryhards that sell boosts 24/7 and now have extreme amounts of gold, in the dozens of millions. The GM of one of the top guilds in MOP had like 19 million from Garrosh Heirloom boosts. He sold it all, got banned, walked away with several grand IRL cash No fucks given about the ban at that point

36k for someone with 1-3 goldcaps is literally a piss in the ocean.

on Twisting nether and ravencrest EU the dmf satchel is often at 100k or higher, Container is easily 250k++
the tabards goes for goldcap (eventhough you can buy majority of 30bucks on ebay).

If you find 135k for this mount weird, well then you either don't know how to make easy gold or just making a thread to try and create drama where there is none.
