    WoW is dying

Pretty much title. WoW is down to 4 mil and it will continue. I feel sorry for the players wasting their money on micro transactions, as Blizzard will close servers. What's a waste.

    No. WoW isn't dying.

Wait until Legion is released. Subs will increase to 8M+

I feel sorry for players like you who are still hung up on the game, and still want to play but their ego won't let them. Really sad honestly. Probably a liar in real life too.

Daoc servers are still up, albeit low populated.

WoW isnt going anywhere for a looong time.

Hopefully lots of people unsubs now. To show Blizzard that they cant have this huge gap between latest raid patch/big content patch and new xpac. I have been unsubbed since may. I thought I would come back before christmas, but I saw no point in it. This time around I wont sub before Legion has been out for a week or two.

How many millions more than the second is that 4 million?

Yes, it is, in a way. But it's still the best MMO and many will come back again for Legion.

WoW is just going to slowly transition from a game you play year round to one you play for few months after every expansion and major patch. It will be cyclical, unless blizzard released content more consistently.

I wouldn't say WoW is dying, its more than MMOs are dying.

pay to play mmos were considered to be a success at 1 million concurrent subscribers. i dont think its going anywhere for awhile. shit they got time to scramble and throw together a wow v2 to release in 2020 before wow dies.

The whole genre is dying. It suprises me that there are still so many people playing WoW at this time and age.
