    Glenn Frey of the Eagle dead at 67

    Another Rocker gone to Heaven


    Glenn Frey, songwriting powerhouse and founder of one of the most successful bands of all-time, the Eagles, has died age 67 after succumbing from complications due to various intestinal issues.
    The Eagles' official website released a statement saying, "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our comrade, Eagles founder, Glenn Frey, in New York City on Monday, January 18th, 2016."

    Absolutely crazy. The man was a legend, and alongside the other legends who have
    died, 2016 is shaping up to be one fel of a terrible year for music as a whole.

    I blame all the shitty pop music, it's giving these old guys cancer and shit

    But seriously, been a fan of The Eagles for over 20 years, they were one of the first rock bands I really got into. They reunited in 1994 and I remember my dad playing the living hell out of Hell Freezes Over and Hotel California when we were on vacation one summer. I seriously thought he only brought like 3 CD's to Greece, the other being Bringing Down the Horse by The Wallflowers. So many great memories and I was fortunate enough to see The Eagles about 10 years ago in concert, they were an expensive ticket IIRC.
