    3.84tb ssd

    So samsung has begun making a 3.84TB SSD for enterprise applications. Price tag on it is $2200. It's a nice drive.

    well 1 SSD for the same price as my computer and mouse+keyboard. Seems worth it.

    As Linus said, its not about it being worth it, its about the fact that it exists and eventually it will be there on the consumer grade market. Imagine just having enough space with one ssd and then just one HDD for back up. Can't wait.

    No real reason for it to be. It's way easier to stack a lot of SATA ports. It's an enterprise SSD.
