Immigrants are not evil, but nice generalization. The Islamic culture, that is the background of nearly all the present asylum seekers/refuges, has no room for your humanitarian kindness. This can be seen in the fact that the rest of the Islamic world has refused to take any of them even though relocating them in those countries would cost 1/10 that moving them into the west would.

But minors should be allowed to be relocated to their parents/guardians.

What basically occurred is that during their exodus some family members got admittance to the UK because they fled Syria long before the other half of their family. Later, when their families (minors) had to leave they were not allowed to reach their fathers in the UK but luckily ended up in France. This is just the UK courts saying these minors should be reunited with their parents who were already allowed into the country.

This occurs all the time in refugee situations. Often a member of the household (generally the male head) has to leave under immediate threat. Due the financial and/or political situation of the region, often they can not instantly bring their entire families with them. So later their offspring (again MINORS) come as soon as is possible but is often many months behind.

How the hell would you feel if you had to leave under threat of life and then your young children, while able to leave the life threatening area, were never able to see you again?
