White Guilt video shown at a High School Assembly

The video in question played at a Glen Allen High School assembly. Do you find it offensive or do you agree with the video? Also, what would you do if your child was there for it?

Personally I find the video full of crap that, while some of the elements in the video are true, its not an accurate representation of the real problems facing the minority communities. This video is nothing but a video excuse for failure that pushes an agenda. If my kids were at that school, I would probably raise hell. Why is it that the black community seems to be the only one raising a stink about discrimination and seemingly unable to get ahead due to /excuses?

Teaching the next generation of Blacks that it is not their fault if they don't succeed. They should be reading a Jesse Lee Peterson book instead.

It's been said for years that schools are indoctrination factories and it's pretty obvious that they are.

You have mostly liberal teachers putting their own opinions into school work and you end up with this.

This is why homeschooling is up nearly 60%, who would you rather have teaching your child values? A stranger with an agenda or yourself?

I do think its funny how it makes it seem its impossible for any minority to ever better themselves because nothing is in their power to change it because of their skin color. Like they cant beat any white guy because skin color.

It is clearly a tool used to decrease societal cohesiveness, increase divisiveness. What a great path they are setting kids on.

I like how they keep trying to teach our younger generations to keep on hating.

The victim complex has become so widespread among "people of color" that something has got to be done. This dividing blame game is tearing us apart, and our politicians absolutely love it.

blacks cant be racist they constantly just have the force of the world oppressing them, poor things. I cant imagine being so oppressed being born into a world with no opportunity. Must be tough to overcome everything this generation of blacks have been thrown at them, like having to cooperate with police officers and behaving like cultured individuals.

Some of the video is true and the overall message at the end of why we need affirmative action in the US is true but the video stretches the truth at several points which allows criticism.

Can't watch the video right now, but I hope it explains to me why I am the cause of all the troubles of the world!

Why don't you go out and say it? Stop with the thinly veiled posts and threads and say what you have in your mind. You think blacks are inherently more violent and are subhuman. Poverty and crime are not mutually exclusive, and blacks like to live on welfare and in the worst areas in cities because they are lazy.

Just another day with the racist dog whistle posts that bring out the conservative braintrust of MMOC like this gem.

Are those the only two options? Either all their problems are because of white people keeping them down, or they're subhuman?

    Christ, you need some nuance.

Absolutely batty. Yes, let's push the resentment and hate current generations feel
(for whatever reasons,) onto the next generation; that'll help things!

Keep simplifying all concepts you and others in this thread obviously cannot comprehend. Oh yeah, slavery ended over 150 years ago too, ergo this is just more SJW tripe from Al Sharpton, AMIRITE?
