Want to upgrade my PC as much as I can for around $500.00

PC specs are as follows:

Processor: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Ram: 8g DDR 2167 MHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 oc
Heat sink: Cooler Master hyp 212
Power Supply: XFX 550w

I like to play MMO's (Wow, FFXIV, ESO Etc.) want to be able to play on max if possible.
Feel free to sway me either up, or down, on the price.

I5 6600k with a 1151 Mainboard and 8GB DDR4 Ram is around 400-450$.
You can keep your GPU and sell the the old CPU+RAM+Mainboard for 170-200$ and with this money you can buy a R9 380.
