I have 2 sons. I would have been just as happy with 2 daughters. However, I picked sons in the poll because now that I have them, I can't imagine it any other way.

Boys seem easier to raise. Girls seem like they would be more interesting to raise.

I have twin teen daughters, and I don't think I could have raised boys nearly as well as girls. All that running around and jumping, and cashing into stuff would drive me nuts. OTOH, now that my daughters are closing in on 15, the "drama" has ratcheted up exponentially. Hormones.

Not in a relationship atm and I'm in my mid-thirties, so there's a good chance I won't end up having kids. If I did, though, I don't have a gender preference really. Maybe slightly more likely to want a boy, since I'm a guy and it'd be fun to do guy stuff with him, but eh.

My mom once cursed me to have a daughter like me, so I am hoping for sons. Folk-wisdom says boys are pretty easy once you get passed their rough and tumble childhood. Get them to teen years and its a lot easier.

From experience so far, I only make girls.

I already have a son and in the process of getting pregnant for a second time. Hope my next child is a girl.

Think we will keep trying until we get at least one girl or my uterus falls out. Whichever comes first if this next kid is not a girl.

Would have done the same if our first was a girl- we would have tried till we got a boy. My husband and I want at least one girl and one boy. More is a bonus.

I'd have a daughter, I think she'd be easier to take care of. Though a boy would more likely enjoy the things I like. If I could have a tomboy I'd be so happy.

Personally, I think it would be best for me to have a couple of daughters. I tend to be able to connect with females better than with males, plus in my childhood we were two brothers with little to none socialization with girls - I would like to make up for that somehow. If I have more than two children, I think it would be better to have both boys and girls.

I don't want to have kids, but if I had to choose I'd go with daughter. I feel like a girl would be easier to handle, until they get to teens anyway
