Which State of the game u found more immersive Vanilla or WoD

Which of the both expansions/games u found to be more immersive /more engaged into the world

Regardless how good they were both had their prons and cons , the majority of the WoW fanbase dont consider Wotlk and TBC to be the best expansions(and propably most immersive?).
