I drink. I know that it is not the optimal solution. But it helps taking my mind off stuff.

The secret is to understand that if you can't do anything right now about whatever you're worrying about, then there is literally no point thinking about it.

Worry is fear over what will happen in the future. Save your emotions for the present moment.

For me, drinking works pretty well as stress relief as long as I don't overdo it. I usually don't have to worry about "overdoing it" these days. I got a lot better about knowing my limits by the time I reached my late 20s.

I don't get stressed a lot in the recent years, when it happens, it doesn't last long. That short period of time while it is there, I compensate with cigarettes. But I don't smoke as much as I used to before.

I guess my life is going in a better direction. Or even just being a more healthier one. Stress is hard for your body and mind, you need to calm down, analyze and try to move forward.

Stress is largely self created. Managing stress is a process of applying rational thinking to external problems in relation to your actual limitations.

Doing anything you enjoy and can exert control over is an effective technique in reconciling the above factors of external demands/events and personal regard toward those events; playing the violin, dancing, drawing, et cetera.

I personally enjoy cooking, playing with my son, reading and sex to relieve anxiety caused by stressful events.

This, pretty much. My mind works like this: I keep a list of what I have to do, weighted by how quickly I can do a task balanced by how important. Attack one thing at a time, or juggle if a task is time consuming. Keep going. Get through the list.

Let's all ride the Gish gallop.

Get really high and think about life. Realize nothing matters but your happiness. That is the only thing that should matter to you. Make a list of the things that bother you, and try to come up with solutions one at a time.

Doing PvP in WoW just causes more stress due to how bad people on your team are. xD

You don't deal with stress there isn't a way to deal with it.
Drinking/drugs/fitness/running/meditation/yoga/doctors/pills all these are useless nothing helps because you go from one stressful shit to another.

Its what life is events lined up 1 after another to kill you faster then normal.
