Describe 2016 Presidential Election in One Word

I saw this article on CNN where Charleston S.C. College students were asked to describe the 2016 Presidential Election in one word, and I thought it would be interesting to see other peoples thoughts on how they describe it.

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/29/politi...iref=obnetwork

So how would you describe it?

I think for me, I would go with "garbage" or "saddened".

    Polarizing

On the republican side there has actually been a lot of choice. The problem is that with all that choice, it was actually hard to get a consensus on anyone. I would have liked to see Carly Fiorina still in there in the top 3 to choose from.

If you're a democrat, I could completely understand your feeling of garbage. You were given no choice in the selection process. Valid choices were stifled from joining the race at the behest of the DNC who did not want competition in the choice. That competition can lead to what we see in the Republican side where weaknesses of candidates are exposed early on.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

    Flabbergasted
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes

    Whacky.

Though most of the suggestions are equally fitting.

I also think those students interviewed are severely overestimating their impact.
