I was just at the Aether Foundation for the first time, i guess Lusamine is the true main villain since Team Skull are just to fucking dumb to come of as evil.

Gotcha, I have 1.5 islands to go and I have one due to just leveling like crazy as I try to capture everything I can. Wasn't sure fi there was a move or something that could only be learned if it was low enough level.

Basically having a wrecking ball the entire game. No reason to actually use other Pokemon at that point.

elite 4 spam and the battle tree I guess

post game doesn't really have anything but some side battles with old characters (you remember that little house on melmele island with the guy talking about how his kid ran away from home years ago, yea you should go there after you beat the game)

Not much. Never in any pokemon game except sequels did they add a better endgame. It's always been the sequels.

There's little side events from characters after you beat the game, ultra beasts and the battle tree but that's pretty much it besides online battles

whats our equivalent in gen 7? Theres always a 3 version family that takes a long time to get to the end of but the payoff is worth it.

That sounds right, won't be Cos as it's the 'mascot' for these versions. But 53 is pretty rough.

Well, luckily crits got nerfed in Sun/Moon.

How so? I am only aware of a nerf to crits during X/Y. Not aware of any additional changes since then.
