Trump has turned politics into entertainment.

That Trump has successfully convinced you people that this is the case is probably the biggest travesty.

It has nothing to do with outsiders. Well okay, maybe a little bit. But it mostly has everything to do with the fact that the Republican party spent the post-2008 and 2012 elections realizing that they need to reform away from the very thing Trump is about in order to win the White House, because the minority/women gap is inexcusably high. Preaching hate and intolerance and, frankly, nearly devastating incompetence is doing nothing but grinding the party into the dust.

I imagine by "you" you really mean the people who enjoy this kind of shit.

Trump is the face of crony capitalism
Someone should really start keeping tally of the hypocritical remarks coming from Romney this election. As Senator Reid put it...he's got some gall...

Yeah. I'm saying that clearly there's a large market globally for reading about Americans disagreeing with each other. If you don't like it, take it up with them.

Politics were entertainment in America since as long as I can remember. I want to say since Bush Jr, but I imagine they were entertainment before that too.

Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry weren't too bad in that respect, it really wasn't until the 2008 election that it became less issue oriented and more "excitement" orientated.

So... Mitt Romney just gave Trump's popularity a huge boost. Nice job, Mitt.

It's pretty much just "what a loser that guy's a loser he's a loser." Trump really needs to evolve his insult game beyond the high school level.

I kinda wish Romney would have gone after Obama with this same aggressive clarity during the last election, but oh well.

This was a bone-headed move. If you want Trump to not be the nominee, the race has to narrow to Trump and one other candidate (Cruz or Rubio). Most Republican voters don't want Trump to be their nominee, but Trump is currently getting a higher percentage of votes in the primary than any other candidate. Narrow the field to Trump and one other candidate and Trump loses the nomination.

You know Trump is bad, when it comes from Romney.

These goddamn morons in the Republican establishment are so incredibly thick-headed and dumb that they just don't understand that attacking Trump just makes him stronger and stronger.

He's against the establishment, and his supporters hate the establishment, so when you, a part of the establishment, try to attack him, it doesn't matter how much sense you make, it doesn't matter if you use facts, they don't like you, and anything you say will just enforce their view that you're the most horrendous shit on this planet and Trump is the savior.

I mean... It's not rocket science.

Well neither are Presbyterians, but Trump has it down to a science and it boosts his popularity.
