there's quite a bit of interesting research that shows the overload of and eventual reliance on sexual stimulus from porn is actually really bad for your natural sex drive and erectile function. masturbating from your imagination for a few weeks can reverse it easily enough though.

That may be, but then you said that masturbation is not explicitly enhanced by pornography, which is, in the case of many a man, quite false. Also, masturbation not requiring porn is also not true in very many cases; there are at least a good number of men who need that (right kind of) audiovisual stimulus in order to become, and stay excited. The point I was trying to make is that as the general statement as it was, it wasn't accurate when it comes to the male sex.



You're coming at it from a woman's perspective, and I think it's somewhat established knowledge that when it comes to these things, women rely a lot more on their imagination, thoughts and feelings, than men do, who on the other hand are stimulated much more by audiovisual cues.
