Goddamnit Cincy, you had one job. I needed the Titans to win the AFC South.
He missed it! Texans win the division!
What an awesome dramatic day. Just a shame for all the fucking injuries.
Well that is a good way for the Bengals to lose, on a missed FG.
Yeah, I am going to end up rooting for Dallas and Houston in the playoffs it seems. I lived close to those places, so I kinda have to cheer for them. Though I am enjoying some of the fresh blood in KC.

Just got back from skiing all-day, and saw all the bad news. Who didn't break a leg today?
... now I feel jinxed about skiing tomorrow.
Holy shit the Browns!
Holy shit Mariota/Carr/Lockett I really feel for Raider fans right now.
Still holy shitting Earl Thomas; that killed us today
A likely congrats to the Chiefs for getting to steamroll the Texans on wild-card weekend again this year.
Man I feel bad for the Raiders...went from legit SB contender to likely being one-and-done in the playoffs. Sorry, but I don't see Matt McGloin being able to carry this team very far. Feel bad for the Titans too of course, losing Mariota to the same injury but the Titans were just on the cusp of being in the playoffs, the Raiders were legitimate contenders until this happened. Despite whatever the seeding ends up as in the AFC I think Patriots are obviously the best team there, followed by a toss-up between the Chiefs and Steelers and then everyone else just kind of on the backburner.
NFC got some interesting shakeups. GB and Detroit now play for the NFC North title in week 17, regardless of whether or not Detroit wins or loses on Monday. Dallas #1 and Atlanta #2, I would have had the Giants as my third-best team in the NFC but after that showing on Thursday I'm not so sure anymore. I'd say the NFC race is a lot closer than the AFC one; I think every NFC playoff team has a legitimate shot of doing well in the playoffs whereas in the AFC I have very little to no faith any team other than the 3 I mentioned in the previous paragraph.
The only saving grace is McGloin could have 3 weeks before his first real game, Denver can be beaten with a solid run game. That's a lot of time to work with a talent loaded offence, he's got a solid cannon arm and can make throws.
Also he's in contract year, a handful of great games and he can be paid megabucks next season by the Texans.
Carr COULD be back as early as the championship week, unlikely but it depends on the type of break and how surgery goes.
Phins vs Dirty Birds SB. That'd be the dream.
The Raiders aren't even on the same level as Dallas or New England. Sure, you can call it luck that the Cowboys are in, but they look really good, they are my pick to win it if they get that far. The thing a lot of people ignore is that they have been good all season, Prescott has been on fire even when he hasn't had great games, he has found a way to get it done.
And fuck the Chargers, bunch of scrubs losing to the Browns.
Rex Burkhead has done a great job replacing Gio.
New England will probably pick him up in FA this year and make him godlike.

WIth Derek Carr, the Raiders had the best chance of Usurping New England in the AFC.
No other team even came close.
Now, the only team with a shot is the one who has a pissed off and bitter John Harbaugh.

We're actually pretty okay on receiving threat back, with Dion Lewis and James White. We also pretty much always get RB's off the scrapheap, not highly touted and productive RB's that garner a nice contract somewhere.
Chiefs. They lose the inexplicable ones, but they tend to show up. Reid is too conservative, but against the Patriots you need that to some degree. Chiefs are very good at limiting mistakes and using turnovers to get points.WIth Derek Carr, the Raiders had the best chance of Usurping New England in the AFC.

Very dangerous team.
Anyone who didn't think the Raiders were serious contenders this year hasn't watched much past week 3 barring the Chiefs losses.
Even though Crick has played significantly better the last few weeks, the Raiders could probably still just run the ball every play and win because Todd Davis keeps playing over Zaire Anderson. Having a total of 4 d-lineman (assuming Wolfe doesn't play), with one being a pass rush specialist (Crick), one being a project rookie coming off a torn ACL (Gotsis), one being a a 4-3 DT being forced into a NT spot (Sly), then Winn being the 4th makes it super easy to run on when you have the Raiders o-line even with good ILB play.
Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers could all beat NE. Chiefs have a ball control type offense with a good defense, but Marcus Peters gets burned a lot so it would depend on how he plays. Playoff Ravens are really good, and the Steelers are dangerous when their offense is on, which is random. Of the 7 teams with realistic playoff chances, I would only count out Houston. Not sure about Oakland though because their defense is the worst of all the AFC playoff teams, by a significant margin in some cases. Miami should probably be counted out for the same reason, their defense isn't good, but I would take Gase and Joseph over Del Rio and Norton every single time.
That being said, watch the Superbowl be something random like Texans vs Redskins.
Funny thing is that the Raiders D rank low because of the first few weeks. In the second half of the season they've ranked highly with their turnover amounts.
This game is going to be nerve wrecking to watch, it is essentially a playoff game for us now, we have to win. GO RAVENS!

Boswell kicks the opening kickoff out of bounds, hope we can capitalize.
Just in time to see part of the Steelers drive and the TD.
