Depending on what his goals are for the end of his career, it is possible he might not even want to sign an extension. There are also reasons for the Saints to not meet his demands as well if they have a guy they think can start next year.

Yeah I know but it is very frustrating. I was pissed when they traded Jimmy Graham and Sproles...and now they are pulling this shit with the best Saint player we've ever had. Sometimes it sucks being a fan watching your team do really stupid shit.

Any word on how much playing time Talib may miss? I haven't heard much about the severity. Big difference between a graze and an actual gun shot wound.

No surgery required and they said he won't miss any OTAs, so it probably just a graze.

I kind of like college sports now that I don't cheer for a particular team. I felt it stupid to cheer for my childhood school as I didn't end up going there so now I just watch it for good games. I'm glad I didn't get into fantasy sports though as it feels like that would cheapen my enjoyment for sport as a whole.
