Who is the best presidential candidate if you only care about the economy?

I am just looking at facts in this thread, It would be beneficial to me if the US economy stays strong at least for a middle class who would be the primary customer audience for some business I am aiming at, so other aspects wouldn't really affect me.

Which candidate would create a stronger middle class?

Trump. The middle class could take out small loans of a million dollars if trump gets in.

Interestingly, Asher Edelman (the man who inspired the Gordon Gecko character in the move Wall Street) says it is Bernie Sanders by a long-shot.

    The money quotes from him:

When you have the top one percent getting money, they spend five, ten percent of what they earn. When you have the lower end of the economy getting money, they spend a hundred, or a hundred and ten percent of what they earn. As you’ve had a transfer of wealth to the top, and a transfer of income to the top, you have a shrinking consumer base, basically, and you have a shrinking velocity of money.
Bernie is the only person out there who I think is talking at all about both fiscal stimulation and banking rules that will get the banks to begin to generate lending again as opposed to speculation.

How so, his creed doesn't seem to benefit the middle class from what I have seen, and he's talking to the lower class with issues that don't really benefit them economically like promoting segregation and that wall, while he's clearly aiming at higher class with something different.

More taxes on the upper classes are generally better for the economy.

Long-term or short-term? Clinton, Kasish or Cruz would all not rock the boat, but be incapable of addressing the "big crash" and/or end of the middle-class we're headed for in a few decades (very roughly - I'd guess we'll make 5 or 10, and really really doubt we'll last 50), while Sanders brings the possibility of beginning real reform, but no guarantees. Trump is an utter crapshoot, in my opinion - who knows what you'd actually get (except a big ego in the White House, that comes with any version of Trump).
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)

Kasich easily. All that he said last night about him playing a large part in balancing the budget. He seems common sense. Of course he goes off on his de-regulation tangents but has said something to the line of "common sense" on regulation.

I don't make enough money money to get more tax from Bernie.

If the government is going to spend trillions of dollars no matter what I'd rather it go to help poor people in this country than bombing poor people in others.

Most of the time, yes, as it leads to a higher velocity of money.

Trump is good at exactly one thing, marketing.

Ugh...I hate to say it, but probably Kasich. I can't stand some of his political views, but he does have a proven track record in that regard. Sanders might be a second but only if you consider the long-term implications of putting more involvement into things like health care and education.
