Who does household chores in your home?

Who does household chores in your home? I mostly do the cleaning, laundry and cooking here, what about your places?

We all try to chip in, but my mother is one of those who insists everything be done "just so", which means many a time we are shoved aside while she does it her way, of course, she complains that she has to do everything still.

Even so, I try to do as much as possible while she isn't looking, it's funny, if she sees you doing something, she'll take over, if she doesn't see you doing it, she'll not notice the difference.

I live with a large family in a very large house, so we divide the chores. I clean the floor and do the dishes. I have not the faintest idea on how to wash the clothes, to be honest.

You do your equal share. If you don't, you don't really deserve to live with someone. When I was living with a female friend for a couple of years, we both took turns at cleaning/mowing the lawn/etc. We tended to do our own laundry but would always put out/take in each other's stuff if the other was busy. Really, there should be no question that the burden of daily living should be shared between all those sharing a living space.

The only thing I tend to get lazy with is vacuuming, but even that gets done frequently enough to not be a problem. I'm also really bad about keeping my car clean (I'm currently driving a car when I really should be driving a truck with all the tools and shit I haul around), but I don't really count that as a "household" chore.

When I still lived at home I would say me and my siblings did an average amount of chores, nothing out of the ordinary.

I do everything, but laundry, cuz I'm a single dude. There's a cheap laundry service available right in my condo, so I dun need to do it myself.

We split them, she's in charge and tells me what to do. I don't try to sabotage but she sighs a lot.

I do whatever chores I have made for myself. In the communal areas, it's just a "clean up after yourself" rule. I'll mop once in a while (hardwood floors), but the roommates tend to do that whenever their birds or dogs have an accident. Beyond that, I wash my dishes/silverware right after using them, and do my own laundry. I clean the bathroom the most, as I'm the only guy and I certainly make more of a mess in there.

I do the groceries, I cook, I clean the bathroom, I do all minor repairs and such and I iron.

Everything else my girlfriend. I do the bathroom because I am a bit obsessive about it , I cook because my girlfriend can't boil an egg, the groceries because I cook, I iron because she's awful at it, repairs because I'm handy and I enjoy it.

We do have a cleaning lady tho who comes in once every two weeks for a big general clean-up, also after parties and such.
