If I dared leaving my apartment, considering the possibilities of other crazy people doing all sorts of crime, then I'd have some murdering to do.
But then again I probably wouldn't because I doubt I could bring myself to actually murder someone, so... Guess I'd do nothing and do my best to stay safe.

There will be a lot of shops to rob, a lot of women to rape, and a lot of people to kill.
But most likely I will be extremely careful because I am sure I am on quite a few people's hit list as well.
Another thing is, if I placed poison to someone within that 24 hours, and they took it and died after that 24 hours, am I still responsible for it for not?
Also there are people that I would like kill in a slow painful death style, 24 hours just simply isn't enough to satisfy the "slow" part.

This is the only logical, moral answer... A reasonable person shouldn't need laws to prevent them from doing bad things.

edit: damn, someone beat me to it. I guess going to a Wal Mart or something and getting a bunch of free groceries would be cool. I wouldn't feel too bad about ripping off Wal Mart, although I imagine they'd just take it out on the employees, so that would kinda suck.
