But yea keep ignoring that part, meanwhile Brown punches an officers face and charges at him and people like you said he was innocent.

Before those shots they comment the vehicles being shot at (disable it?). After it hes clearly not shot and demanding they shoot him and after a few seconds he gets shot. Cant see whats happening here but if im dealing with some asshole.who a) i know is armed b)has said he wont go down without a fight and c) reaches where one can conceal despite commands to the contrary, im shooting him. Hes a clear danger to me and other officers and i dont have to wait until the gun is pointed in my direction to act. The idiots had plenty of opportunity to surrender lawfully. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It also bears mentioning (and we really should emphasize this more) that most of the rounds discharged, including those fired in the 2 second window that Vyxn's upset about, were rubber bullets or bean-bag rounds, not lethal rounds. They were used to break windows for visibility into the vehicle.



When they're a dangerous felon who poses a threat to officers or others? Yes. Already linked the US precedent for doing so.

But you haven't actually established that they did use lethal force until he went for a gun. Again; the earlier rounds you're so bent out of shape over were rubber bullets. There were 4 bullet holes in the truck; three from an officer firing from the barricade, and one other from another officer, none of which were fired in that time frame or were involved with the window you keep bringing up.

The first 2 shots were not rubber bullets or beanbags. Those are the two shots the FBI is being investigated for covering upwhen they failed to disclose the weapons discharge and removed the shell casings

Speaking of the 9MM , there were claims in the thread by some that Finicum did not own a 9mm they found on him and the family had stated that. Well they of course traced the entire ownership of the gun from it's first sale to the last. And it turns out Finicums son gave him the weapon as a present.

We know he had a 9mm. He never left home without it.
