But I am poor most of the time, and it took me many months to save to buy it.
Some people are rich, and spend thousands on clothes, cars, jewellery etc.

Anyone who owns their home is going to say house.
I would imagine the next up would be their car.
Not much in a single purchase will equal a car or property. Unless people sum up stuff for a degree or something like that.

Definitely my car, my old one was 12 years old, so it was time for something new. If I hadn't made some bad roommate decisions, it would have been a house as my biggest purchase.

I don't know. I've made a lot of purchases in my life. Recent was a $611 SSD but I'm pretty sure I've bought more expensive stuff in the past.

Better food than I need, traveling, drinking, trips, activities, clothes, tobacco, treating others, going out, etc. etc.
Definitely that.
If it's just a one-time purchase thing, then apartment.

Last time I bought a car was 1987. I am currently using company cars. One for me and one for my wife.
My desktop computer is 5 years old. My laptop is provided by the company. My wife's laptop is about 5 years old also.
I have been using the same Kestrel bicycle for 10 years.
I guess I am cheap. It must be true because my wife said so.
