After you are able to name a problem you can create policy around it. For example, we could create a migration policy that allows us to reject applicants if we find out they are Islamists as well as limiting the amount of people from regions where there is majority agreement about the unequal treatment/punishment of gays, women, and apostates.

In terms of combating them, I'm confident that Obama, Trump, or Hillary will all do a great job in fully supporting the military in their anti-terrorist bombing missions. Let me guess, trump says he will bomb oil fields and 'take them', torture people and order soldiers to kill women and children family of terrorists? No soldier is going to kill unarmed women and children not to mention it is a warcrime to do that and torture. As someone who lives 100 meters from Maelbeek subway, I like my hellhole. There's obviously things that need to improve, especially government wise. In the past year they've done much better than the years before that and we are on the right track, sadly enough this terrorist attack happened. Whether or not it could have been prevented is debatable, with so many terrorists in our city, doesn't mean that clearing out one cell will prevent others from taking over instantly.

Either way this is what happens when you have socialist parties ruling a city for decades, feasting of the immigrant voters and letting a lot of stuff slip through the fingers so they retain their voters. It's really sad what became of Brussels under their influence.

Either way the only thing pre and post attacks that changed is my anger towards the Parti Socialiste, but my love for Brussels remains unchanged.
