We've had threads saying "what's your top 3 games of all time" and whatnot but now I want to know. Hand on heart, what singular game is your favorite of all time in the world. For me that is easy. Phantasy Star 4: The End of the Millennium. It is the reason I love RPGs and was the first one I ever played as a kid.

Shenmue 2.
Still one of the most stunning and believable open worlds ever created. The stunning beauty of Hong Kong/Kowloon Walled City put it far above the first game IMO, and the epic boss fights in Kowloon are still some of the best ever done in gaming.

If I literally had to pick only one, it would be Super Mario World probably.
My favorite game as a kid before I had my own Game Boy Color, and the only game I will repeatedly go back to play over and over again, and I'll purchase it on almost anything Nintendo puts it on. I just can't get bored of that game."El Psy Kongroo!" Hearthstone Moderator

Legend of Zelda : Majora's Mask, released on the N64 in 2000
A game better than Ocarina of Time which is often considered the best game of all time. Majora is some kind of accomplishment for a 3D game, delivering a perfect mix of pleasure, a stunning atmosphere, art, music, perfectly chosen colors, this game is near perfect to me.Last edited by Cæli; 2016-03-26 at 02:25 AM.

I'd have to say Half-Life, easily.
The game itself was an amazing experience... but what's more was its incredibly long life all thanks to the countless amazing mods that were made for it, biggest example being Counter-Strike and Natural Selection.

I hate choosing my Number 1 because so many are equally memorable to me.
had so many "AWESOME!" moments in many games that choosing one feels like I am betraying my memories of the others D:
Final Fantasy X if I really had to have my arm twisted.

If I had to choose? Witcher 3. Amazing open world, gameplay, story, characters, decisions, etc...
But I like quite a few other games almost equally too.

Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) I played all the sonic games growing up. This one with the save data was just awesome. The SUPER AWESOME COMBINING Sonic and Knuckles game in conjunction with it? In my mind was a masterpiece.

If I had to then it would probably go to something like Final Fantasy X. I can replay that game many many times (and I have) and never get bored of it. I just love everything about it. It is hard though to pick one when there's games like Star Ocean 3 were I also spent a HUGE amount of time in and would be an equal.

Any Star Ocean game you can spend obscene amounts of time playing. Which is to say they are a ton of fun. Originally Posted by Aruhen
