    http://www.siliconera.com/2016/06/08...layers-breach/

A new Deus Ex: Mankind Divided mode was announced during the Deus Ex Universe Pre-E3 Showcase today. In addition to the primary campaign, a Breach mode will be included with all copies of the game. Breach is a self-contained storyline.

In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Breach, players are a Ripper, a person hired to hack into servers to find answers. A pharmaceutical company, called Versalife, may be behind the death of a young woman. Her parents have hired you to hack in to find out what’s going on. Your Ripper goes into the system in this first-person shooter with puzzle elements, attacking data towers, extracting data, collecting fragments, and eliminating enemies. The goal is to get the information you need, then make sure your avatar escapes the server.

Your Breach avatar will be customizable. The character can earn and apply Virtual Augmentations after leveling up. However, you have limited memory, which determines how many Virtual Augmentations you can equip at once. Avatars can also collect and buy weapons, which can be dismantled to craft new equipment. Completing raids earns you credits, which can go toward models. You can also earn booster packs as you play. These can be bought with in-game currency or real cash, and can give you weapons, skills, ammunition, and other bonuses.

There is also a Breach Challenge mode. You go through a challenges, with an option to add modifiers that make the level easier or harder. Once completed, you can share your score. If others can’t beat you, you get additional credits for it.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Breach mode will be available at launch. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs on August 23, 2016.

Natsume line-up of games that they plan on talking about at E3

Natsume announced their E3 2016 lineup with Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, River City: Tokyo Rumble, and Wild Guns: Reloaded.

Here’s more on the three titles that Natsume will showcase at E3 2016:

    Harvest Moon: Skytree Village

“After the evolutionary Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and a successful jaunt to mobile platforms with Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, we are really excited to share everything we have learned with our fans,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. “Our community is very important to us, and their feedback and input has been taken into account a great deal in the development of Harvest Moon: Skytree Village! We hope they will see and feel their contribution in this new game!”

Times have changed in the land known as the Oasis of the Harvest Goddess. Many people used to live in Skytree Village, and the land was lush and green. However, the power of the Harvest Goddess gradually began to wane, and the land became parched and dry.

It’s up to you revive the seven Skytrees in order to give the Harvest Goddess her power back, and, in turn, bring life back to this desolate land!

“We’ve revisited each and every part of what makes a Harvest Moon game, and are excited at the end result,” said Taka Maekawa, Producer of the Harvest Moon series. “We are looking forward to seeing players try the game during E3 2016.”

Play as a boy or a girl, woo bachelorettes and bachelors, and start a family!
Completely new story with tons of interesting new characters.
New crops and flowers to discover.
New fishing mechanics: expand waterways and catch rarer fish.
A full town with many residents, each with their own personalities and quirks.

    River City: Tokyo Rumble

“We know there’s a loyal fanbase of the River City series in North America who have been asking for more of these addictive games to play!” said Hiro Maekawa, President & CEO of Natsume. “Whether you’re a longtime River City fan or new to the series, there’s plenty of sidescrolling action to love.”

Originally launched as Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun SP: Rantou Kyousoukyoku in Japan, the game is part of a long-running series of side-scrolling RPG brawlers, sports games, and more. North Americans were first introduced to the series with River City Ransom on the NES, with an updated take on the game arriving several years later on the Game Boy Advance. Multiple spinoff games, including volleyball and fighting games, have followed.

“River City its celebrating its 30th anniversary in Japan in 2016, and we’re excited to be part of the celebration,” said Minoru Kidooka, CEO of Arc System Works. “We’re very excited to be continuing our partnership with Natsume, which included Gotcha Racing and Brave Tank Hero in 2015.”

Play as Kunio, Riki, and other famous fighters from the River City series!
Take on jobs to earn extra cash, special moves, and more!
Take a break from the main story to fight in a 4-man Rumble or dodgeball match!
Take on your friends using Local Play and Download Play!
Unlock new characters, stages, and songs as you progress through the game!

    Wild Guns: Reloaded

“Wild Guns was an instant cult classic when it launched a little over 20 years ago, and fans have continued to love the franchise on Nintendo platforms over the years,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume Inc. “We’re very excited to be working with Natsume Atari Inc. and the original development team to bring the game to the PlayStation 4 audience.”

In Wild Guns: Reloaded, Annie has tracked down the famed bounty hunter Clint to get revenge on the Kid gang. With eight stages, each with three zones, there’s plenty of bad robots to blast away. With a true arcade game feel, Wild Guns was the first sci-fi western to arrive on home consoles and, to this day, there really isn’t any other game like it!

“With our 30th anniversary this year, it’s the perfect time to revisit one of our classic and most beloved titles,” said Takashi Matsumoto, CEO of Natsume Atari Inc. “The original programmer, designer, and sound creator of Wild Guns are excited to have an opportunity to revisit their game many years later, and bring it to a modern Sony audience.”

Two new characters, each with their own weapons and tactics
1-4 player mode, where each player can take on one of the four characters
    Classic and NEW Stages!
NEW Boss Enemies and Special Weapons!
“Snow can only live in the winter. When it nears a fire, it dies. That is its life. It may yearn for summer, but… it can only desire it. In my hand, the snow becomes water, because this is not its world….”
“The boundless Heavens and Earth are the final resting place of all living things. Life is like a journey, filled with various scenery, various paths.

Fate/Extella, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, Akiba’s Beat, And More Headed To North America: Beware wall of text, let me know if i should just provide the link or just keep it all like this.

XSEED Games announced today their lineup of games that will be showcased at E3 2016, which includes Fate/Extella, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, Akiba’s Beat, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, and more.

The company will showcase Trails of Cold Steel II for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Corpse Party for Nintendo 3DS, along with indie titles in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero on PS4, Wii U, and PS Vita, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity for PS4, and Exile’s End for PS4, Wii U, and PS Vita.

Also announced was Akiba’s Beat for PS4 and PS Vita, which is currently set for a Winter 2016 launch. More info on all the titles will be available at E3.

"We’re excited about the expansion of our portfolio with the addition of titles from high profile franchises such as Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star and follow-ups to our acclaimed properties with STORY OF SEASONS and The Legend of Heroes," said Shinichi Suzuki, President & CEO of Marvelous USA. "Alongside independent labors of love including Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, we are very much looking forward to showing off these games for the first time at E3.”

Here are more details behind the titles from the press release:

    Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star

[Platforms: PS4, PSVita; Release: Winter] – Expanding upon the extensive and much-beloved Fate universe with a standalone story from acclaimed series writer Kinoko Nasu (of Fate/stay night fame), Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, developed by Marvelous Inc., transpires on the new world of Extella through a diverse cast of “Servants” – ancient warriors of legend and imagination, always at their Masters’ orders – who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the Moon. In a future ruled by the all-powerful lunar super computer Moon Cell Automaton, these champions now duke it out for dominance over this digital realm, known as “SE.RA.PH.” This story takes place after the events described in Fate/EXTRA, and depicts the world after that previous Holy Grail War. Players will experience the story from the independent perspectives of the three heroine Servants and face off against foes from a variety of Fate productions, including characters fromFate/stay night, Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order, in fast-paced action. A new form change battle mechanic debuts in this entry to match its series-first gameplay style, transforming the player-controlled Servants and granting them considerable powers that allow them to devastate enemies and take formidable challenges head-on.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

[Platform: Nintendo 3DS; Release: 2017] – In celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the longest-running farming and life simulation series, the belovedBokujo Monogatari franchise – now known as STORY OF SEASONS in the West – returns with its biggest adventure yet in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. Settled on a homestead in the middle of three distinct and uniquely themed locales, players can explore a diverse landscape as they search for new ways to grow their farms and friendships. Extensive customization and gameplay options are on offer in Trio of Towns, with each village offering its own variety of regional crops, lads and ladies to romance, animals, festivals, furniture, decorations and more. More ways to play sprout up as players connect to one another locally or via the internet to chat, trade, and enhance items on a mysterious multiplayer island.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

[Platforms: PSVita, PS3; Release: Fall 2016] – The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II picks up one month after the decisive collision which changed the fate of the entire nation at the conclusion of Trails of Cold Steel. Speedy, tactical turn-based combat with the newly-developed “ARCUS” system returns with all the bells and whistles players fondly remember alongside a new Overdrive mode, new means of transportation both across the land and sky, new allies, new dangers, and a renewed sense of hope as Rean tirelessly works to right the wrongs that have led the country to disarray. Cross-Save functionality between the game’s “PSVita” and PS3™ editions returns, and clear data from the first game grants bonus stats and extra items. In addition, relationships cultivated during the earlier time players spent at Thors Military Academy affect future story elements and allow for more personalized conversations throughout the game.

    Corpse Party

[Platform: Nintendo 3DS; Release: Summer 2016] – In the critically acclaimed cult hit Corpse Party, players take control of a group of Japanese high school students who inadvertently engage in a pagan ritual and find themselves inexplicably transported into a whole other space: an inescapable echo of a long-since demolished school building where a series of brutal murders once took place. Presented using crisp 2D sprite graphics in a classic 16-bit style, Corpse Party is brought to life with gruesome and horrifyingly detailed portraits and art stills, vividly descriptive text, and binaural 3D audio when played with headphones for a more immersive audioscape. Players’ minds are prone to wander in this horror adventure, providing a uniquely engrossing and terrifying story-driven experience. Remastered from the 2011 PSP game, the Nintendo 3DS rendition of Corpse Party will feature redrawn, high-resolution character sprites, newly arranged music tracks, and 3D art stills, as well as four new Extra Chapters exclusive to this version that provide insight into lesser-shown characters and plot elements previously left unexplained.

    Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

[Platforms: PS4, PSVita, Wii U; Release: Fall 2016] – After three successful outings, Shantae is ready to embark on her first big-screen adventure in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. Vibrant, high-definition graphics bring new detail to the series’ charming hand-drawn sprites, which take center stage in this engaging 2.5D entry along with the franchise’s signature action-packed platforming and heavy exploration elements. As Shantae masters her trademark Belly Dance Magic to transform into various creatures, old stages can be explored again to unearth new items and secrets, ensuring there’s plenty of content for casual players and platforming gurus alike. Steamy jungles, ancient ruins, and stormy deserts lie between Shantae and the ultimate showdown against her arch-nemesis: the bodacious buccaneer Risky Boots!

    Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity

[Platform: PS4; Release: Summer 2016] – Set in the ever-evolving Touhou Project universe, the fan-created Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity trades in the series’ top down bullet-hell roots for an action RPG style approach, drawing inspiration from games such as Ys while retaining Touhou’s classic indie feel. Utilizing the titular Remilia Scarlet’s vampiric powers or the time-stopping abilities of her devoted maid Sakuya Izayoi, players will explore a wide variety of environments in 1080p at a smooth 60 frames per second, fighting their way through the game’s myriad of aggressive creatures while conquering tricky and highly varied platforming challenges. The series’ signature complex enemy patterns and waves of projectiles will keep players on their toes with the game’s fast-paced combat as they battle to retake Scarlet’s manor in this standalone adventure!

    Exile’s End

[Platforms: PS4, PSVita, Wii U; Release: Summer 2016] – A dark and futuristic 2D sidescroller offering adventure-style puzzles, exploration-driven platforming, and dangerous extraterrestrials, Exile’s End draws inspiration from classic “cinematic platformers” with its animated cutscenes, multiple endings, an atmospheric soundtrack by Keiji Yamagishi and much more. Players will investigate a massive, interconnected alien world as they solve the mystery of a strange disappearance on a distant mining planet and experience a story of ancient riddles and modern-day hubris. Backed by Japanese publisher Marvelous Inc., Exile’s End is a collaboration between Tokyo-based indie game developer Matt Fielding and many talented local industry veterans, and a partial remake that significantly expands on the ideas behind Fielding’s first game, Inescapable.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force’s English Trailer Has Familiar Gundams Facing Off

Bandai Namco is bringing Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force to both North America and Europe next month and, to help people understand what to expect, it’s released a new trailer and screenshots that shows some rather iconic mecha fighting. Many are using Force Attacks, which are stronger than typical attacks and deal a more substantial amount of damage to enemies.

Don’t worry if some of the Gundam aren’t immediately recognizable in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force trailer or screenshots. These are all taken from the English version of the game, which means the health bars helpfully have the names of units like the 00 Gundam, Barbatos 1st Form, Barbatos 4th Form, Destiny Gundam (Heine), Gundam GP02, Gundam Mk-II (Kamille), Mack Knife, Master Gundam, Strike Freedom, The-O, and Turn X on them.

    Injustice 2
    http://nichegamer.com/2016/06/08/inj...launches-2017/

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have officially confirmed Injustice 2, a follow-up to their DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The sequel will launch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2017. NetherRealm Studios is promising a “massive roster” of DC characters, while also enabling players to build their own version of whichever character they prefer.

Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer. Here’s a brief synopsis for the game, via Warner Bros:

Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. Every battle defines you in a game where players personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.

Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.

Help my memories. Has so much been announced/teased in the time before E3 last year? It seems there is not a single day without 2-3 announcements. Honestly if all of E3 will be longer trailers for games they already teased I will be pretty disappointed.

Nintendo really aren't doing themselves many media favors by not having press events. And to be honest, I must be one of the few people who finds their Nintendo Direct platform to be extremely cringe worthy and continually fails to highlight big games. I mean, I looked at the list of games and there are really only three big tiles coming to Nintendo platforms and we knew about them all already. Between Pokemon Sun & Moon and Dragon Quest 7 on the 3DS and The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U, the fact that there is nothing else getting hyped right now is absurd.

As a side note, Metroid Prime: Federation Force comes out in a couple of months for the 3DS and I don't think anyone cares because at E3 last year, the game looked like shit.
