Help, Myhtic tyrant or fel lord ?

Hey, we killed socrethar and iskar and i wanted to know what would be the next step, the avrage ilvl of the group is 734 and our dps is getting reaver to 15-20% before air phase. Is tyrant or fel lord easier? If we had time i would try both and see but we need to skip a day this week so i'm asking for help to take the good decision?

    Thanks in advance.

We got Tyrant on farm before Fel Lord, but go Fel Lord.

Best thing about Fel Lord is that its a really quick encounter, and once you sort out the basic mechanics, it doesn't really change through the whole fight. So you might end up with more wipes, but I reckon the time spent on it is likely to be a lot less overall.

When we were doing progression we took 40 pulls for Fel Lord and 126 for Velhari.

Fel Lord is easier but it has the highest "retard tax" for want of a better word. You can go from 20 people alive to wipe in a heartbeat. Have fun :P

Zakuun is the easiest boss in the instance with the gear you'll have when you reach it. Maybe only Hellfire Assault is easier. Even reaver can be a challenge compared to it (judging with the entry level gear one would go at first to it, not now).

I bet you had god-like tanks. The rest roles don't need supernatural abilities to carry others. Mainly to know when to dps, to use cooldowns and to move correctly.

Might also depend if you have a lot of melee or if you have enough ppl who has immunities

Run as few healers as possible, lust on the pull and see how low you can get him. With 2-3 healers you shouldn't even have his disarmed phase, meaning you'll have to deal with just one set of seeds in the final phase.

Don't soak pillars in the final phase as they won't pop up anyways until after the seeds have expired. You won't have a second set of seeds, and risking having more people with the debuff prior to your first set of seeds going off is just a risk that you don't really need to take. Lots of pillars will be up, but it really doesn't matter as they really don't do all that much damage anyway. Try your best at doing the seeds properly, but because you didn't have his disarmed phase, literally every raid CD and personal CD should be available. Pop every single defensive ability you have on that one set of seeds, and you will win. If you do it perfectly, nobody dies. Even if you fuck it up a lot, chances are half of your raid should be alive, and should be able to limp to the finish with 10-12 people alive.

Doing it this way you really don't have to think about anything. All depends on what your DPS and how many people you actively want to soak the first two sets of pillars. On our first set of pillars we have people soak and get the debuff, but only the tank goes down. Means we have a few people with the debuff in the last phase, but it really doesn't matter if a couple explosions go off as long as people use CDs.

Depending on how fast your P1 is and how many healers you use, the encounter should at the most end when the second ring explodes, or shortly after the second ring explodes.

Tyrant is pretty much handled the same way as Heroic, except you suicide people who get the AoE shared group explosion late in P2 and all of P3. The Tyrant fight quite literally boils down to gauging how much DPS you have, and figuring out where your warlock portals need to be as you move around the room in P3 as a group. If a portals in a wrong place and your warlocks aren't retarded, all it takes is them moving slightly ahead to replace where the portal is. If you do that and your tanks can use CDs, you pretty much win. Optionally, if you have a good shadow priest they can stand away from the raid in the last phase and just grip/disperse the first person that gets picked if you have people incapable of clicking a portal.

Velhari ain't really hard either with current gear. The hard part was getting through P2 fast, pre valor buff your raid would have like 25-30% hp, now it's possible to end the phase at 60% health which makes edict totally healable in p3. Stacking burst cds + 795 ring really nerfed this part like mad.

Zakuun is all about seed of destruction. One fuckup with that and it's an instant wipe. If you can get soaking and that, you kill this one easily.
