If Blizzard would release vanilla realms, would you want arena to be added as well?

So, hypothetically, let's say Blizzard does open a vanilla realm. Now recently, this blizzard employee, who used to work on vanilla, tweeted that he'd change/add nothing to vanilla realms if they went live, because it wouldn't feel like vanilla anymore and might snowball into more additions. And it got me thinking because, arguably, one of the, if not the most, successful additions to WoW has been arena pvp system, which was added in TBC, so if there's anything that should be added to vanilla from future expansions, i'd say this would probably be it.

They wouldn't even have to add new gear for it, simply add warlord/marshal pvp set as a reward for 1800 rating and high warlord/grand marshal set at 2200 rating. So this basically would give incentive to run arenas, while not upsetting the rest of the community, as same gear can be obtained through hardcore pvp grinding.

So then, would you add arena pvp system to a vanilla realm? Do you think it would destroy world pvp? Do you think they'd be competitive without resilience stat, level 60 healthpools/damage outputs and with the state the level 60 pvp balance was at in vanilla? Or would battlegrounds
