For a brand new computer, it's really good value. If it's used I have no idea. Kind of depends if it works.

Heh. There's a difference between running and actually working.

So I don't know about cragilist's policy but if you can get a guarantee that it works perfectly then yes, I think it's still pretty good value. Just the graphics card and processor costed twice that price when new. I'm not an expert on used parts but I've heard people talking about 30% to 50% reduction in value for used stuff.

It's not bad, but used with outdated hardware. The 780 Ti is still a good GPU, and nearly as fast as a 970. I'd ask for $500.

Outdated hardware? Hardly... The 780 Ti is still a great GPU and the i7-4770K can literally run anything.

Honestly my only gripe with the overall system is low HDD space (easily added to, however) and only 8GB of RAM (another thing that's easily increased).

$500 is you being cheap, sorry to say.

With DX12 games already releasing, and more on the way, any GPU without support for DX12 is pretty much already outdated, IMO. Personally, I would not buy a 780ti today even if it was a great deal.

Well, true, but that's me too. I mean hell, lately a lot of the time spent on my PC is playing stupid browser games or emulating old Genesis games. Hardly need the hardware I have for any of that.

I'm having so much fun, honestly! Still have my sub to FF but barely ever play it lately. Why? Because I believe in what Square Enix is doing and greatly appreciate it. Blizzard, take note.

Same. I have logged in a couple times the past months, say hi, can't decide what to do, log out. I won't cancel my sub though because I love the game and want to support it.
