Probably because large news conglomerates already donated to certain candidates who care less about money in politics tbh
They are protesting money in politics...the same money that pays for the advertising in newspapers; and most mass media outlets are part of large corporations themselves. They spend plenty of money lobbying as well to get a lot of benefits, so they aren't interested in that going away (lobbying is considered one of the most efficient investments a large corporation can make ( https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/pol...5YK/story.html ).
The reality is that mass media in the US is right-leaning. Despite the conservative meme that mass media is liberal, actual analysis demonstrates that notion to be utterly false with mass media ranging from slightly right-leaning to extreme right. This is due to the fact that mass media ownership is largely concentrated among 6 major corporations (all of whom favor at least slight right-leaning concepts to benefit themselves):
There's a bit of coverage.

One thing can be said of the coverage though. It's all from organisations that people would consider left wing. Nobody else wants to cover this until the protesters do something that could be spun to be shown as rioting.
TYT have covered it as well, cos it's right up their alley. They're not mainstream media though.

You guys are absolutely right. It was more of a rhetorical question in my OP. I know why, I just find it extremely frustrating. Getting money out of politics might be the single most important issue of these few years.
Didn't they protest in an area they weren't supposed to? If so, why does it matter that 800 people were arrested for flaunting protester laws?
Too much noise at the moment. They Democracy Spring people should've waited for a quieter news time.
Trump is usually at the top of the headlines for example.

I don't know. There was already a thread made about this very topic a few days ago and it quickly died.
I guess cause no one fucking cares?
