    So what happened to Grom

Expansion ends and draenei and orcs hold hands and walk into the sunset?

What happened? I mean its really easy to say, "Sorry I fucked up." When your plans for interdimensional domination have been foiled.

Glad you're sorry. You're still gonna die.

He still had an army, and neither side wanted more bloodshed. And the Alliance and horde left.

Chris Metzen refused to leave the nursery until the staff of Blizzard promised him that Grom Hellscream would be the big hero of Warlords of Draenor, instead of the final boss.

How very anti-climactic. Maybe we will get more closure in the pre-patch?

He rapes yrel and wipes out all remaining draenei as soon as we got out of hearing range. That would actually be happy ending to all that mess.

Blizzard went full retard and made everyone forget that Grom was just trying to murder them for shits and giggles.

They then tried to invent some imaginary army that Grom has that would be powerful enough to threaten Karabor. Because, once again, Blizzard's writers are fucking retarded.

A mid-tier patch would've done the expansion good, giving actual stage time for Grom's shift from enemy to ally. The way things went, he'd need to win a considerable victory for Azeroth against the Legion for the playerbase to accept him, but Blizz already commented the AU people will sit this one out.

I accepted Grom's pardon just because his character design and presentation are so dreamy.
Now you see it. Now you don't.

    But was where Dalaran?

Y'all are too hard on Grom, he was just kidding.

Arguably without him, we wouldn't have defeated Archi and that outlands would have been lost. Plus who knows what kind of twisted stories Garrosh had told him. Maybe he viewed us has cowardly vermin and then after dancing with us a bit, he saw we were more than just bullies. He clearly had a different opinion of us when he was kicking it with Guldan.

A little more clean up work would have been nice.

Killing a few demons doesn't absolve him of his crimes.

In the World of Warcraft it does.

I always said it WoD lore and story is a mess.

They should make a portal in CoT to WoD content and place a NPC infront of it that will explain that it was a dream state of the emerald nightmare.
It never happend it was a dream, Garrosh is still in prison and we can just move on without even have a multiverse - timetravel thing at all.

Blizzard really needs to fire their writers and hire people that can actually write coherent stories.

It was just a prank, bro.

But seriously, every time this comes up it's just the same thing. Draenei would rather drop a war than continue, Grom was really mislead by Garrosh, the orcs have now seen the horrors of the Legion, etc.

Yeah, it was badly implemented, no doubt. But it does make sense to stop fighting once you realize you were in the wrong, and the Draenei know full well who the real enemy is.

He is providing the horde with iron horde stuff.

What war? Grom's imaginary army that the devs. pulled out of their asses when people started questioning the stupid ending? Grom has no army, they all joined the Legion.

Did you miss all the orcs left cheering? Not all of them did. Although I never said it was Grom's army, but Grom is still apparently respected by the ending, why else would they be cheering?

The only ones they give the impression of actually joining the Legion was the Bleeding Hollow clan. There was definitely enough left loyal to Grom. But, yet again, that's because it was badly implemented. They didn't add a faction like "Remnants of the Iron Horde" or something in Tanaan that could of had a huge storyline explaining how they have seen the horrors of what Gul'dan has done, and they want to save Grom to the point of being willing to work with us.

The Frostwolf orcs? Yeah, that's Blizzard being dumb again because the Frostwolves were being killed by Grom too.

Remember the garrison campaign questline? Grom withdrew all his forces into Tanaan. They were all in Tanaan when Gul'dan took over. So, if there was still a Grom loyal army they would have to be in Tanaan. So, where the fuck are they? Why weren't they trying to get Grom free? Why the fuck are they still loyal to him after his massive failures?

It seems like it was just Blizzard trying to make up some excuse for their horrible writing after the fact. There's 0 evidence of a Grom loyal army anywhere in Tanaan.

What? What do you think would happen next? He would come to try and invade us again and we would have WoD2!

Better have Yrel kill him instead. Then we don't have to worry about that anymore. ^^

Truth be told... they will probably find a way to make him warchief of the horde.

I'm uh...not disagreeing with that. It was terrible. It felt completely hamfisted in, like they realized after changing from Grom being the final boss to "wait, why aren't they killing Grom now".

Does it make sense to stop fighting after? Sure.

Did they explain anything about it though? No. Not at all. At most, all Grom did was spin in a circle around some mobs (But then again, all Thrall did was shoot other dragon's energy out of a giant pocketwatch at another giant dragon, yet he got all the credit), and that's suppose to be accepted as "Grom is good guy!", without any reasoning.

Hell, it could of even made for a cool questline ending, where you sneak in to save Grom at the end of an Iron Horde faction, and have to fight Fel Lord Zakuun (Or possibly one of his stronger minions) to the point of at least making them retreat (Or if it's one of his minions, just killing them) and then free Grom so he can actually do something earlier in the raid, like I dunno, storm the keep after you kill the 2nd boss to clear out a wave of enemies coming out (Think like in SoO how Tyrande came up after killing Iron Juggernaut).

Also side note, I think I see a Laughing Skull helm actually in the video,

    About 5 seconds after that
