Roleplaying servers are a whole different beast. People who actually roleplay have vastly different use for the cities. The rest of us need them only for AH and portals. And since Draenor has AH either in either Ashran hub or Garrison, the reasons to visit Stormwind are very few.

Lately I have only been to Stormwind to turn in the Cataclysm Timewalking quest for those 500 tokens.

I played on ED before quitting. It's dead af. I can't even imagine how dead non-rp servers must be.
