I wouldn't mind a commemorative bill for one year only (sure I will still complain a little), not permanently though. I think it would do race relations a lot of good if blacks weren't reminded of slavery every time they buy something with a 20 dollar bill.

It'd do a lot of good if everyone dropped shit that happened 200+ years ago, instead of using it as the end all excuse for everything.

But then people might start voting intelligently and certain groups don't want that. -points at the Trump and Hildabeast supporters-

Did you just completely skip US history in school? Hamilton ($10 bill) was not a president. Franklin ($100 bill) was not a president.

I don't have a problem with them changing the bills, but Tubman is a poor choice. She was a hero for sure, but on an individual level like a medal of honor winner. She wasn't that essential in shaping our country. I'd rather see MLK or Susan B Anthony on the $20.

Hamilton and Franklin were both essential in the creation of this country.

If I had my way theyd take Lincoln off the penny and rotate people on it.
