If you’re going to try for tickets, take some time in advance to read up on this year’s ticket-sales process and what’s new for 2016:

    • BlizzCon Ticket Info page – Get an overview of BlizzCon 2016 general admission tickets.
    • Ticket Purchasing Guide – Contains additional handy details on the ticket-sales process, including what information you’ll need to provide before trying to get tickets.

You’ll have until July 15 to edit attendee information on your tickets, so it’s OK if you just enter your own name and email address for every ticket for now—just remember to go back and update this info before the deadline!

If you don’t get tickets during this first sale, a second batch will go on sale Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. PDT. In addition, tickets to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will go on sale Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. PDT. For those unable to attend the show, in-depth coverage of BlizzCon will also be available through the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket—further details will be announced at a later date.

BlizzCon 2016 will take place November 4 and 5 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and tickets cost $199 each (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner cost $750 each (plus taxes and fees) and include BlizzCon admission. For further information, check out the official BlizzCon site.

Wish they had some sort of indicator of how big the line is / how far you are into it, just waiting at this popup that says "You Are Now In Line" for the past five minutes

Right? you'd think the process would improve over the years not regress, at least with past sales, you could see

Meh I'll just get a Virtual Ticket. All I'm really bothered about is D3/SC2 and I have an irrational fear of flying anyway so I doubt I'd even go on a plane. Plus way cheaper

I got some, it was very easy to get them, maybe i just got lucky. Got in queue, put in info, i had tickets within a minute. Way better system than the cluster fuck that was last year

/wrists So much fun waiting in line for 15 minutes to be told "Nope"

  16. #16
We had 10 people trying, all refreshing like crazy and we got in the second it came up.

Waited 15 minutes in the stupid "line" then "no tickets left available"

None of us got tickets. FML

Even though I didn't get any it's still better than last year's system, having the queue randomly kick you out for over an hour was ridiculous.

I can't believe people still line up to pay for this crap from a company that clearly doesn't care about the people anymore. You are truly an example of what is wrong with people today. Willing to waste money just to waste it.

Didn't get it this time, but I really don't know if it was better than lasts years system. I had a couple browsers open and heard the sound effect, which took me to a window to "login" but it didn't allow me to login anyways, shortly after prompted with tickets are sold out.

I think the best system is still the one Blizzard did themselves. Is it really hard for a ticket hosting site to just flat out tell you what position you are in line?

How is it a waste if they are getting the 2 days worth of entertainment plus a holiday if they choose to stay in California longer? Merely your opinion. I mean sure the VT is a cheaper alternative but some people would like to go to one in their lifetimes which is understandable. I never will partly because money and mostly because as stated above I'm afraid of flying.
