Since my question would not get the attention I want in other threads (which aren't specifically about what I want to ask), I made this thread.
So I see people asking for the removal of LFX-tool. A tool which provides convenience of not having to spam /trade and not be "idling" in your capital.
Now I am a vanilla-player. I never had any issues with getting a group via /trade or otherwise. I do remember that during when the tool was implemented, we all cheered! No longer would it be "inconvenient" to make a group. People were very happy with that tool.
To me it only became a problem when crossrealm was added. Sure it was logical seeing Blizzard being stubborn in not truly merge servers. So I get how and why this crossrealm stuff was done. But why ask for the complete removal of the tool? I mean if you do not get rid of the tool but get rid of teleporting, the tools convenience is still there. If you want a more social experience, you'd remove the crossrealm stuff.
So why are people asking for the removal. I mean even Blizzard commented on the LFX-tool for pristine realms. As if we do not want the tool itself. Sure the forums are riddled with petitions for it to be removed, but as the wise man said before: you think you want it, but you don't - applies here more then ever imo.
Why remove the tool when you could remove the anti-social aspects of that tool instead?
