When Orcs drank Mannoroth's Blood they became slaves to Burning Legion. Gul'dan created Horde because Kil'jaeden wanted him to do so, in order to wipe out Draenei and assault alien world. Gul'dan had no interest in Orcs, he just did it in exchange for more power.
He definitely did no good for his people, this is my major problem. I have no problem with 'evil' characters becoming Supports when they were actually helping their nation.
For example I would have no problem with Kel'thuzad being Support Hero. He as a character was never egoistic maniac seeking power, but a curious scholar. He pledged himself into Lich King's service because was interested in learning more, then it became his cause. He was always doing a supportive work: creating Scourge for Lich King, supporting Arthas in becoming Lich King and then serving him again.
I even think some Necromancy stuff could be used as a "heal". For example Animate Death was a Death Knight's ability which resurrected fallen units and made then invulnerable. So in HotS it could be something like this: If hero dies within X seconds, it comes back to life for limited time and will be invulnerable. He also had a Frost Shield ability.
Then you could still focus him on some Frost Spells and give him a mana draining ability as his niche (He was 'destroying' mana in Naxx). Now you have a offensive/utility Support that actually makes some sense.
Unlike a Warlock who betrayed everybody he could when a chance presented itself, even Burning Legion.
What about this:
Warlock don't have to nuke, he can deal damage over time and summon demons. So basically a Mage (In HotS terminology) with a Sustained Damage rather than Burst. We currently have no Hero like this, all Sustained Damage Dealers are AA Heroes (Other than Thrall maybe).
Sorry, but playing Warlock all these years make it hard for me to see a dark sorcerer as a Support hero. Warlocks themselves are actually physically sick from being exposed to Fel energies. They need to leech on others to sustain themselves, I can hardly see a Warlock class to be good foundation for Support.
It is like wanting ho have Warrior class as a Support... I mean, he could shout to buff and debuff Heroes. No?
