Reasoning Behind Race Choice?

What influences, if any, played a role in the Race you chose for your avatar?

Im curious as to what reasons you guys have behind why you chose the race you did, and if you don't have any reason, tell me what you like most about the race you ended up choosing anyways!

On Horde: Tauren - Why, I don't know. It's the coolest damn race in the game, especially as a Warrior with Orc as a big second.
On Alliance: Dwarf - They are awesome, also as Warriors Humans are cool aswell, nice with armor. But so common.
