    The post you are quoting refers to the state on the alpha, so yeah, they do obliterate quite a lot. Also as far as I know the free something proc (Rime) that frost has is Howling Blast/Icy Touch not Obliterate/Icy Touch and the use of icy touch in PvE is quite obscure.

    this, killing machine no longer effects frost strike so it's basically just a RP dump now. I've heard(haven't looked to check) that the mastery is different to keep the rotation from going into howling blast/frost strike spam
