How many ads have you blocked?

Saw a thread like this but nercoing is not allowed. Anyways:

AdBlock plus: 122,923 ads blocked

UBlock: 365,912 ads blocked

Regular AdBlock: 2,912 ads

I wonder if that's from my laptops/desktops combined since I share a google chrome sign-in with them, or if it's just my desktop alone (which I'm on right now to get those numbers).

uBlock is claiming 4.7 million but that's hard for me to believe (even counting blocking things that aren't really ads). I've only had it like six months. Before that I used Adblock and I have no idea how many it had anymore.

A lot of the blockers block script objects and some pages per refresh can have dozens or more. It's not at all uncommon to rack up tens of thousands of blocks in a day of heavy browsing.

I have no idea how to check. Adblock in Firefox. I keep it disabled here on MMOC because I support the site.

I had to block MMOC ads because if I don't I can't even visit the site. The ads were seriously cancer, completely crippled my brower. No idea if they still like that but last year they were nasty for a good stretch.

Between AdBlock and AdBlockPlus... well over a million.

Although, I've recently turned them off for certain websites. The new problem I ran into is that my current antivirus has an internet protection component which doesn't seem to allow for exceptions. I can only turn individual components (like VigLink, Analytics and Adtech) on/off.

Honestly that's a lot of Ads. Like a ridiculous amount of them. Until they get rid of those awful audio/video Ads on MMO-C. Adblocker will stay on. I've whitelisted all the other Bookmarked sites I visit.

I know it does by default. I believe I turned off blocking web beacons and stuff like that because I really don't care about them. It still seems like an awful lot for 6 months of use, but I guess as somebody who makes a living on their computer in addition to his recreation time I'm not a typical use case either.

I had to reinstall Windows because my OS SSD failed a couple weeks back. In those few weeks I am up to 294,000 ads blocked.
