That's poor logic if only because the MAJORITY of people are evolutionary run off. That's how human beings have managed to get as far as we have. We've largely subverted the system that causes weak, stupid, or otherwise unhealthy people from being able to pass on their genes using standardized education and advanced medical care. Dollars to donuts several hundred years ago most of the people on this forum would have lacked any skill even vaguely considered useful. Evolution doesn't really count the social constructs humans create in its list of things to cull or fix because 'republican' and 'democrat' for instance aren't exactly parts of our dna.

This. I thought the dumbfuck eugenics and social darwinist "debate" was pretty much put to rest after WW2.

I was always confused by the idiots who fail to grasp that what makes humans better than anything nature can throw at us is BECAUSE we organize ourselves into groups and we pick up our weak. As individuals or small groups we are always limited by our environment. But in large numbers we can pretty much do anything we set our minds to.
