No they wouldn't. The Celts never settled in Britain or Ireland. Roman writing clearly points as the Brittanics as a completely seperate people as the Gauls that are in present french borders, or the Celtic tribes in modern day borders of Switzerland and Austria. The sole reason the term Celt came up was in the 17th or 18th century as a means to unite Welsh, Scottish and Irish against a dominant English growth on the Islands and nothing more. When studies are done on people from the Islands it is clear it is closest to basques than anyone else.
