yeah.. well the main night elven group recently found out that Illidan was right all along, they essentially gave up using arcane magic for no reason.
they could have done their job so much better with it and formed a much stronger society to defend. Well they may get a chance to do so alongside their nightborne kin from their ancient city of Suramar.. but we'll see.
They've gotten some serious egg on their face.
1. They did come from trolls, the arcane well source is what changed them - so all that arcane magic prejudice should die now in any night elves that retain it
2. Druidic nature magic can corrupt even more easily than the arcane via the nightmare, at least the arcane the person has control, so gone should be any disdain for any of their casters - whether highborne, normal night elf or nightborne.
3. Did I mention Illidan was right? Yes Illidan was right, giving up Arcane was a mistake, now they find themselves severly weakened and on the brink of failing their ancient charge. Their only hope now is to strengthen themselves in re-uniting with their lost nightborne kin.

exodar being repaired and them saying they're going home are two different things.
1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
2) Unrack
3) Crank out 15 reps
4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day
yeah and everyone, literally everyone I know has enough of stupid orcs and dragons right now. FINALLY we get some light and shadow / demon stuff again. This brainless "me smash" crap pales in comparison to mystical good vs evil style and more sinister touches with beacons of light penetrating them on the horizon!
Now we cant have everything. Two expansions of orcs now, lets have the other party get some candy (yay!)
Join at the end of the queue, i read the novel and while a nice other perspective on the events of BC and intro to demon hunters (A bit too much of the "tormented soul"-trope for my taste), the end twist made me facepalm so hard i hit the back of my chair...
It's a near complete 180-turn on Illidan's character, at the end of the novel i was pretty hard pressed to see any light in him at all, so he hates demons, which doesn't mean anything really, the scourge hates demons too! And now the whole grimdark thing that (i presume) is the big appeal to Illidan as a character is going to be diluted too.
But what if...
Illidan is not prepared?
:-O
Blizzard got the wrong idea when people said they wanted a redemption story for Illidan. RIP Illidan. RIP lore. Med'an>Thrall>Illidan> who?

I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.
I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.
