I mean, I can’t speak from experience, obviously, but my understanding of how acid works in a chemical sense tells me that you’d be aware of the pain for as long as your nerves remained intact.

I could be completely wrong, but I think that’s how it would work.

People go into shock when their nerves ar exposed to air. Its pretty much garantue they passed out quickly. It would be a death equal to being burned alive. Still sucks.
