Actually Id be interested to see if there are any train wrecks this year, considering Brazil's really poor handling of everything. Will the people that would use the sewage water protest and not do anything? Will something collapse? How many Zika cases will result?

A number of sports I'll totally watch. I'll absolutely try to watch Judo. I was very close to being an Olympic Judo player myself at one point, and it's always been something that I've wished I'd have been able to do. I may watch wrestling as well. I'll try to watch rugby and gymnastics. Beyond that, I don't know.

I never understood the point of them, outside of someone, somewhere making bucketloads of cash. This IS the thing where countries (can any really?) that dump tons of money that they don't have, and instead of taking care of their own citizens/country they want to.... what exactly?

It's just the the NFL and Super Bowl. The NFL, nor teams, pay almost ANYTHING for the stadiums and all of the prep for the Super Bowl yet they reap all the rewards.
