Hasn't game of thrones always had this?
Hasn't game of thrones always had this?
The popularity of her character and herself seems like she's doing something right?
I don't know, I think she does a decent job.
But I only repeated her arguments, when she put pressure on the producers a few years ago.

man you're edgy.
and so mature........
"The pen is mightier than the sword.. and considerably easier to write with."
I knew Emma Peel, what you meant that is.
Emma Peel.... The chick that gave half the planets male generation a hard on, without ever showing even naked legs lol
I agree with you. But like I said, that's not relevant.
What was relevant was what she thought, what the producers deemed valid.
And what the outcome was.
Of course, there's a whole group of actors that carry the show from the craftsmanship viewpoint.
But we gotta admit that every character's popularity in a movie or show is as much part of the actor as with the writing.
"The pen is mightier than the sword.. and considerably easier to write with."
Mandatory popularity =/= quality. But, of course, subjectivity is also a thing.
The general consensus among my friends is that her character is interesting despite her average acting, and that she's at least nice to look at. Her character is easily likable as a total badass from time to time with deeply ingrained political incompetence.
"Decent" perhaps. "Shining through acting"... ugh. Certainly not when compared to, say, Headey.
not Jon Snow's.
Don't get me wrong, I don't need or want to see Jon's little stark. But her demand is legitimate. It's not just GoT, but in GoT it's quite visible. Main characters, when they end up naked for any reason. They lay dead on a table, they get naked for sex, you name it. The directors simply act differently on purpose. Woman, if they are allowed, will always try to show more than less of body parts. Male, camera will always film closer. I actually think it's annoying that directors decide to frame naked frame leads for head to the very edge of the pubes. Or even freaking dare making the stupid trick of putting an object in foreground blocking the view. I think her demand is realistic. And yes, I think it's universally agreeable that male genitalia is less of an attractive image than a female one. But it's just the way they treat it that truely bothers me. I mean, I didn't find the red woman old twat attractive either, most people didn't, they still showed it, because why the fuck not, we are all adults.
Man, do families actually watch this stuff? I remember watching Nip/Tuck with my parents and it was not fun.
I really wish they included the parts where she shits herself in the show.
Didn't I see a young man's penis in the last episode "The Door" when Arya was spying on the theater cast?
I thought it was pretty.....equal.
That is true for a lot of movie, series and other media that have full nudity (non erect - so non-porn usually). I think I've never seen a clit or labia to be honest, where these "artsy" movies usually have lots of limp penises. So I can't don't really get the hype - tits are not primary reproductive organs..
